Hi, my name is Ryan. Welcome to my blog!

In case you aren't aware, I'm the HillRunner.com Online Running Coach. I've also been a runner since 1990.

I've had the wonderful benefit of having great coaches from the very beginning and, from the beginning of HillRunner.com in 1999, my whole interest in this site has been to give back to the running community some of what I've been given by the running community.

Most of my posts here will be on the training aspects. I'm especially interested in how the science of running correlates to training theory. However, I won't limit my blog to that. I'll also post on what the elites are up to and general news around the running world, as well as my own running experiences (especially races) and website announcements.
